This is an in-person, gentle and supportive group where we meet around the New Moon to spend some time meditating together, setting our intentions for the month ahead, releasing what is no longer serving us, sharing tea and cake and creating a simple, enjoyable craft.
Spaces are limited so do get in touch if you would like to reserve your place.
These groups are held in Albourne, just 15 minutes from Brighton in a beautiful wooden cabin, with wood-burning stove and ample free parking.
Also known as The Red Tent Moon Lodge, this is a facilitated women’s group and sacred circle. Traditionally this was a time to gather around the New Moon. It was considered to be a time for women to come together to support each other, to feel nourished, connected and replenished. To sit quietly and meditate in a group of women, can be a life-enhancing experience.
This is a good time to set your intentions for the upcoming month ahead for any projects or ideas you might have. This is a sacred circle for women to sit together, to feel connected and supported. This circle is a non-judgemental and completely confidential space. This group is not a therapeutic or counselling group. It is primarily a place for women to come together in meditation, to sit and connect through quiet contemplation. There will be some space available to share your own experience if that feels right for you.
I have been facilitating a Red Tent Moon Lodge for many years and have been supporting women for over 30 years in my role as an acupuncturist specialising in pregnancy, fertility, menopause, gynaecology and attending women in childbirth. I have also completed a Red Tent facilitator training to enhance and focus my skills.
I feel very strongly about encouraging a positive attitude, respect and self-care to the 3 stages of Womanhood: Maiden; Mother; Wise Woman. I have worked extensively with women throughout my acupuncture career. Empowering women is an area that I feel truly passionate about.
This is a small supportive and friendly group. Limited spaces. Pre-booking essential.
